Top of the world – climbing the Mt. Everest

I am an adventurer and have always been. The ultimate and beyond is what I thrive for. As an experienced ultra runner, triathlete, mountaineer and ex soldier I have a long list of accomplishments behind me.

The last couple of adventures has been mountaineering and climbing in Norway, Sweden and Tanzania. All the time it has been with one final goal in mind – the Mt. Everest.

Reaching the top of Mt. Everest is one of the ultimate goals and the one I have worked towards for quite some years. Training, preparation, studying and more training and preparation has become part of the routine in order to have the best possible qualifications to reach the top once the time comes.

I have scheduled my attempt in the spring and summer of 2018. It is the current plan to make the summit attempt using the south col route. Currently I am planning on a solo trip. However, not by myself entirely, but joining a group of other climbers with experienced guidance.

Reaching my ultimate goal is not free. Insurance, admittance, hiring of staff and gear all cost a lot of money and this has been the one factor keeping me away from the ultimate goal. With the costs easily exceeding EURO 50,000 all in all I will not be able to raise the necessary funds for many years. Therefore, I kindly ask for you generous people to help me make this dream possible.
