“Toni’s” Leg Surgery

... once upon a time a beautiful Grey longhair stray cat decided to give birth to her 4 sugar sweet kittens on my mom's in laws yard and of course I tried to keep them save as she lives next to a very busy road.

One of her kitten died from being hit by a passing car and there was nothing I could do to save her but the other 3 kittens "Toni"-"Pepe" & "Fluffy" (now about 6 month young) are still around and fortunately they stay within the safe are of my mom's Yard.

They are all healthy and very sweet...

.... but yesterday one of them "Toni" didn't show up as usual for food but today I found her rolled up behing some wood.

When I called her name "Toni" she looked at me and walked towards me with her right back leg up, so I lift her up and had a quick look at her and realised she was hurt and in pain.

I called my local vet at once and ask her if she is still available as it was already off working hours and luckely she said se will of course check what's wrong with Toni...

... she had to make an x-ray to see if she had a fracture which was not the case but her right back leg is dislocated which is "not" that bad but the treatment is (like with a fracture) a surgery to put her leg back and replace the teared ligament.

Toni will need to stay with us for at least 4 weeks after the surgery to guarantee a full and proper recovery.

We have already 6 rescue cats at home in our flat but we don't mind to give her a forever home after she recovered.... we just cannot let her be out and suffer, therefore we decided to give this beautiful stray cat a chance and let the surgery happen.

... and that is why I started this fund raising thing in the hope that there are some kind people out there with a big (Christmas) heart who would be so kind to donate towards "Toni's" vet bill as we cannot afford it all alone 😍

any amount will help to make this little furball happy again and will help us to pay her surgery which is estimated to cost somewhere in between 400-600 euros and of course any excess amount will be used to 100% towards cat rescue projects!
