Campaign Story
Hi, I’m Laura and this is my story.
In 2014 I managed to survive skin cancer. In 2020, on August 13th, I gave birth to a baby girl, Eva, the happiest moment of my life.
Sadly, there were some complications when giving birth, which lead to deeper investigations and a shocking revelation that the disease was back: the doctors found metastatic cancer cells in my lungs and liver. They were not optimistic about my chances of surviving, but we rallied and found the Wiener Clinic in Vienna, Austria, and they accepted to see me. It was not easy to collect the needed funds to go there, but my family and friends got together and we were able to pay for the hospital and initial investigations, along with the first dose of my new treatment. I went through an immunotherapy treatment with Keytruda and Yervoy, trying to slow down and fight the cancer cells, while the doctors were trying to find the best way to save me.
After the first round of treatment, I had to get back to Romania, as the hospitalization costs were very high, but my condition deteriorated and we had to look for an alternative. We decided to go to Turkey and I am hoping that their treatment plan will improve my condition so that I can start getting better.
This is the beginning of a long journey, my family and friends are still doing their best to improve my chances of survival, but we need more help from everyone!
Please use this opportunity to donate so that I can continue this treatment and have a fighting chance against this terrible disease. I want a chance to watch my daughter grow up. I believe in this treatment and I know that it can save my life, I need your help to get the funds for it!

Apreciem toate gandurile bune si suportul oferit, o vom pastra pe Laura in sufletele noastre pentru totdeauna.

A trecut mult timp de cand nu am văzut o evoluție buna a acestora. . . . .

Update posted by Alexandru Vechiu at 07:13 pmDupă întoarcerea în țară și fericirea dată de revederea fetiței, din păcate, starea Laurei s-a înrăutățit de la o zi la alta, corpul ei fiind extrem de slăbit după intervențiile chirurgicale suportate și efectele produse de agresivitatea metastazelor identificate în corp. Veștile rele au continuat să apară, aceasta fiind diagnosticată. . . . .

Update posted by Adrian Stancu at 07:05 pmLast week we were all happy to see Laura come back home to her daughter, even though she was weakened from all the medication, surgical interventions and the effects of the metastasis. Her situation didn’t improve in the first few days and she was hospitalized again in a Romanian clinic.. . . . .
