Campaign Story
Sherilyn has been generous with her time and energy within the community of Taitung over the years. Whether it is teaching, life coaching, praying, organizing holiday feasts, hosting tea parties, hosting friends and family for beach getaways, or sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience from raising 3 kids and growing up in with missionary parents in a far flung jungle, I speak for many locals and foreigners in that we are blessed to call her a friend and neighbor who have been beneficiaries of her kindness. A recent scooter accident resulted in a broken hand with 3 fractures. Titanium plates needed for surgery are not covered by insurance but would provide the best chance of regaining long term function for her hand. Total cost for the plates is 140,000 New Taiwan dollars/4700USD. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help defray the costs at this challenging time and be much appreciated. He removed the stitches and allowed for Sherilyn to start using her hand and fingers as much as her threshold of pain allows including typing, but barring. . . . .
