WHY ARE WE HERE?

• We are here because there are children suffering from life-threatening ailments.

WHAT'S THE SOCIAL PROBLEM WE ARE TRYING TO ADDRESS?

Every day, nearly 17,000 children under the age of 5 die from illnesses which could have been avoided or treated. Due to health access inequalities, lack of healthcare facilities and poverty, these little children are being deprived of living a longer life. Their time is being limited based on the healthcare that they receive.

WHAT DO WE BELIEVE IN?

We are millennials and we believe that healthcare must not be a luxury. It must be available and easily accessible to everyone. Apparently, subsidies of the government to fund the health care sector here in the Philippines are not enough to make it free for everyone. With that being said, we believe that with your help, we can make an impact in the lives of these little children who are fighting for their lives by fulfilling their needs such as medical supplies, equipment and medicines.

WHY CHOOSE TO FUND A SOCIAL VENTURE?

In order to continuously help these little children battling from life-threatening ailments, we’ve come up with a social venture which aims to create a long lasting social impact. Unlike a donation which is a one-time contribution, investing in a social venture provides growth and development which makes it possible to generate revenues that could sustain the needs of the beneficiaries in the long-run.

HOW WILL WE MAKE A SOCIAL IMPACT?

The social venture that we’ve come up is to craft exceptionally designed wooden watches wherein proceeds will be used to purchase medical equipment and medicines needed by the pediatric patients of Philippine General Hospital (PGH).

WHAT IS THE PRODUCT ABOUT?

Our proposed product is a wooden watch which is durable and eco-friendly. We have chosen a wooden watch because it is an untapped market in the Philippines and has a high potential for growth due to increasing demand. A wooden watch also symbolizes the time that we are willing to give to help pediatric patients to live longer through proper healthcare. Each of us has a right to healthcare and well-being. Healthcare must never be a luxury. And with that, we encourage you to save lives and give them a chance to live longer and experience the beauty of life.

We are an advocate of healthcare and we firmly believe that no one shall be deprived of the right to live healthy and free from any illnesses.
