Campaign Story
I am the eldest of 3 sibling who resides in Cebu City as a freelance web developer. I've lost my dad when I was 14 and manage to get by through different ways to earn a living for the family - photography, tutorial services, web development, travel and tours and running errands for family members. Mom's a home earning a living through making native delicacies, next to me has down syndrome and our youngest at his senior high year.
I've went overseas to find a job and to look for better opportunities but when applied for a work visa, had medical examination, shocked as I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer - visa was denied and all of my savings were depleted due to this major setback.
Getting by was very tough, at age 14 up until now, at 30, helping the family get by is always been a priority. Considering the situation, getting a thyroidectomy was near impossibility yet I am hopeful for any help.

Update posted by Verge Gamotan at 01:22 pmRecovering after a thyroid surgery.Dec 5, Tuesday at 6PM I was discharged from the hospital; it was a 3 day stay full of memories, learning and life realization. I received overflowing support from family, friends and the online community.Right after the surgery, I need time to recover and should be. . . . .
Surgery Sunday Update:
Update posted by Verge Gamotan at 01:20 pmI was taken from the ENT Ward 3D down to OR at 5am prepping for the surgery while meeting with my ENT, Surgeon and Anesthesiologist on an overview of the procedure. I was on a general anesthesia while doing the procedure for almost 5 hours, from 8AM til 1PM. It. . . . .
