International Day of Families IDF will be holding their 8th annual Hike-a-thon on May 15th.On Friday May 15th , International Day of Families, The Waldorf School of Santa Barbara will be holding their 8th annual Hike-a-Thon in support of our Tuition Assistance Program. Each year a non-profit organization in the community is chosen to receive 10% of the proceeds generated from the children’s hiking pledges for this event. This year’s recipient is The Wilderness Youth Project. The Hike-a-Thon is a major event which helps to ensure that this dynamic and rich education is available to all who value Waldorf inspired learning.The hike will originate at Toro Canyon Park and proceed up to the gazebo and back down, one loop is one mile.With your help we will raise money for our school and have lots of fun being outdoors in nature with our community!
