The True Killer: This is Not a Murder Story!

Deo Abawag, 28 years old, living in the Philippines and was working as a Trainer in a call center before he had multiple illnesses. September 18, 2020 when he got confined in The Medical City following a supposed consultation only.

Doctors' primary diagnosis were:
1. Septic shock secondary to Community Acquired Pneumonia High Risk: Fungemia
2. Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome secondary to Pneumonia
3. Acute symptomatic seizure secondary to possible Central Nervous System infection
4. Acute Kidney Injury secondary to shock state
5. Autoimmune Hyperthyroidism.

During the confinement of Deo, with all the medical procedures, laboratory tests and professional fees, the hospital bill ballooned to $30,000, however, due to kind-hearted people that reached the words, the bill was cut down to $22,000. This amount covers balance from hospital bill, wake and cremation. We are running out of options as to where we could get funds to settle the bills, this is the primary reason why we created this project for Deo.

Now, if worse comes to worst, Deo's wake will be extended if we are not able to settle the full amount for funeral and cremation which is $3,400 and will be charged for $200/day which is going to put us in debt and would have hard time bouncing back.

We are in need of financial assistance from anyone who is capable of helping others. We need the funds as early as possible as we are running out of time. The family is incapable of paying the bills this is why his friends/officemates have stepped up for him and his family to give him a decent burial and show love for the last time.

All collected funds will be used to pay the funeral parlor. Once the funeral is settled, we will go back to the hospital to pay the balance from medical bill including Doctor's professional fees.
