The way our financial system works is that only the established and capital loaded get the chance to set up a new business in the Asset Management sector, since the regulation barriers require an extensive amount of capital. As well as all the licenses there is heavy duty insurance policies and working capital requirements.

Unfortunately due to this fact most Young Professionals will shy away from setting up on their own and hence the rat race continues juniors become partners then MD's and when they are in their intellectual prime some of them set up Boutiques... But this takes away from the potential development that could be happening in the industry through Innovation and a Fresh outlook - which we have seen transform sectors like technology or in more recent years Energy.

I am a young professional who has worked in the industry. I have a VISION which is delivering FINANCIAL ADVICE FREE FROM SALES- create a firm where there is a direct correlation between clients portfolio performance and company profit.

I have tried to get a start up loan however Financial Service Bodies do not like to fund Financial service Start Ups.
