The Mayor of Ability Town is a board game that sensitizes young people about people with disabilities
Why we need this game?
We all experience disability and we all want to have some fun! The board game will give you a challenge based on disability and accountability and we bet you would want to take the spirit in the real world and make a difference! We challenge you to become THE MAYOR OF A TOWN!
Story: A-Town is a beautiful dream town and everyone who lives there loves and respect each other. One day the retiring mayor has an accident and has to use the wheelchair. On realizing he is unable to go inside any building in A-town he feels accountable to his people and decides to do something. He calls his people and shares his concerns about accessibility and accountability of Universal Design. He is shocked to find the number of people with a disability in his Town and growing numbers based on old age and other factors. To make the Town more accessible, he decides to let the next mayor be one with a disability but not so fast! He picks four candidates recommended by the Town and welcomes them to play a game for 100 days. Each candidate has a disability and gets a small fund from the Mayor. They can land on any property and get license for it and then they must ensure universal accessibility there. The candidate to get maximum licenses and ensures maximum accessibility will become the next Mayor of A-Town. People of A-Town can also enjoy and test the accessibility as the 100 days go on.
