Campaign Story
The Homeless Dog Shelter was establish in 2014 by Jervy Castillo here in the Philippines. Ms. Jervy worked as an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) in Singapore when she started to adopt stray dogs. As time went by, these dogs have increased in number and forced Jervy to come home. In here, her love for animals have swept her off her feet and have put up the shelter.
Right now (as of May 19th 2021), there are 72 dogs and 38 cats in her care. The number of animals are continuing to increase and the expenses are overflowing. Her shelter also rescues dogs and/or cats who are maltreated, abandoned, and dying. Many people have donated what they can to the shelter, but honestly speaking, it wouldn't suffice for the volume of animals they have.
These are the following expenses they have in a month (estimate):
$1100 - Food
$700 - Tick and Flea medication, Vitamins, Utility bills, and Volunteers
This fundraiser has a minimum goal of $10,000 to provide the shelter 6 months worth of supplies and money for the vet visits they would need.
Anyone can donate any amount. We are just requesting for your help especially these rough times for our beloved animals.
