The Heartisan is an evocation of human nature in its most authentic form, a constant remembrance end encouragement of one’s self to explore its spirit and act accordingly to the realness of its own heart and mind. A prolonged introspection moment through the power of scents.

The Heartisan products are handcrafted in Romania, by an interior designer and entreprenuer with over 10 years experience working and distributing some of the highest quality home products (Dr. Vranjes, Karim Rashid, Yankee Candle, Woodwick, Kartell, Wedgwood, Slamp etc.).

The Heartisan is created with enormous love and respect for the environment and people that inhabit it. Our candles are made of an eco vegetable blend, no paraffin included, and include a woodwick.

Born as an idea in 2019, the project became more and more encouraged by the Covid-19 global pandemic, as a need for people to slow down, becoming aware of themselves and the environment and as a meaning to help people relax while working or struggling or just recharging and chilling. The Heartisan's product line will also include hand sanitisers using our iconic scents for both public customers and hospital staff, paid or donated, as needed.

The concept

In the beginning, there was dark. And then there was light. This is how Adam and Eva were born, each of them representing a different moment and state of mind, but in a perfect symbiosis.

Adam represents the joy of light, the energy and the positivity of a new beginning, the mornings dominated by hope and faith, a restoration of trust and clarity, the journey of power from the inside to the outside world, a walk full of energy, an enhancement of all senses, a fuel for fight and winning and fulfillment, the blood rushing through your veins screaming of excitement and energy.

Eva was born with the strong identity of the darkness, the night shallow, representing the symbiotic paradox of Adam. Eva has the power to slow down the daytime processes and induce relaxation, shutting down the exterior and bring you back to your inner self. Eva activates soft and sensual senses. Eva is introspection, genuine feelings, acceptance, low volume, the calm after the storm. Eva lights your steps in the dark and ease your way to meditation and sleep.

The funds will be used to invest in personalized glass recipients (we are working at our final prototypes right now), custom fragrances and wax stocks, work equipment, packaging, official website (in progress), renting a working space etc. Our primary and personal investment was in developing the products, experiment with different kind of materials, until we find the perfect combinations to fit our concept and ensure a premium quality product.

At this moment, our 250g candles can burn for a minimum of 60 hours. However, since we are working on a custom recipient, we would like to develop it for a minimum of 300-400 g, for a bigger scent pool and even longer burning time. The room fragrances will be available in two different sizes, 300ml and 500ml with refills of 500ml and 1000ml being also available. Adam and Eva are fully developed right now and we're working on developing the rest of the products accordingly to their inspiring story.
