The animal shelter is in need of your help 🙏

URGENT MESSAGE 🙏

Good day. On the fateful day of July 23, 2021, I had a bad motorcycle accident which shattered my elbow and made me incapable to dive (my job) til now. Needed to have a full elbow replacement which already had me undergo four major surgeries. As the founder of the shelter who is funding the shelter using my personal funds and being injured, lacking insurance and being jobless for 6 months made the shelter struggle. Animals dying one by one due to low immune system caused by malnourishment as we have to cut costing resulting to an unhealthy and very poor diet of the animals. I have launched this campaign to raise funds for FOOD for the four legged furry babies and to PAY FOR THE RENT of the shelter putting aside our plans of building kennels and all thats stated in the description below. I guess that can wait. These furry kids are more than just family to me and im knocking on your hearts to help us get through til I get back on my feet. Thank you so so much.

DESCRIPTION

We are Hacienda Sirena (Save, Improve, Rescue Nomadic Animals) Shelter. Our SEC Registration process which will make us an official Non profit Organization in the Philippines is still ongoing. We are now just waiting for the approval which normally takes time and more so given the situation right now, a pandemic. We have started in 2015 and since then til now the shelter is personally funded and now that the number of animals in the shelter are growing, we are knocking on your hearts to help us provide for these furry friends. Hacienda Sirena is currently rehabilitating and treating more than 70 dogs and 20 cats that are sadly dying one by one because of low immune system caused by malnourishment due to the need of the shelter to cut costing resulting into unhealthy diet of the animals (It's because I, the founder had a bad accident 6 months ago - story above description) We are located in Dauis, Bohol, Philippines. The shelter aims to save or rescue more animals. Provide food and shelter. To build kennels as quarantine areas for new comers and sick ones. The dogs of the shelter are freely running in the garden. We do not believe that caging animals is a good way to treat them. The profile picture of this campaign is our dog Rhino. A kind hearted Australian woman found her and brought her to us. Her condition then was her photo on the left and on the right is her development after four months of being with us. We have many cases like this and we aim to solve more cases like this. She was shaking when being touched back then but now through the love and kindness she received from us she has completely adapted well in the shelter and is now very playful. We are hoping that you could find the kindness in your hearts and help us help and provide for more stray and animals in need. Any amount of donations will deeply be appreciated. Thank you so much.
