Moviment Graffiti have always given a voice to the voiceless, spoken up for the silenced, defended and fought for what is right, and worked tirelessly to bring to light injustices and stop them.
They are a group of individuals, volunteering their time and resources for the common good. Do we ever show gratitude?
Love or hate them and their methods, our society needs them - ask yourself how many times you only found out about an issue through their protests. If you've ever wished to thank them, join them. pat them on the back, fist-bump them - but felt you couldn't in person, then how about this:
With my birthday and Christmas coming up, I've been inspired by the fb fundraiser apps (that unfortunately don't work for everything in Malta) to start a little fundraiser for Moviment Graffiti - as a thank you, a little something to help with supplies; to go towards the coffee on those all-night vigils, a first aid kit for when they're physically dragged and kicked out of a hearing, or on whatever they need.
All proceeds will go directly to Moviment Graffiti. Transaction fees into the fund are automatically deducted by gofundme whereas I will deal with any further fees for transferring onwards to Moviment Graffiti.
Alternatively, visit you may donate through their website at "https://movimentgraffitti.org/en/donate.html"
I am not a member of Moviment Graffiti and have started this fundraiser voluntarily. Use of their logo and my message have not been vetted by Moviment Graffiti - and I hope they don't mind ;)
