Thai Youth to learn about Poverty & Climate Change

Thank YOU for being here and supporting me to learn about the development issues vital to my country, Thailand.

I would like to attend a regional youth fellowship program that runs from the 9-20 January 2017 in Manila, Philippines. The total fee costs 1500USD including flight. However, since I have secured the maximum scholarship available, this brings down my to-be-covered expenses to 1000USD.

This regional youth conference will include sessions on the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of which I am most passionate about poverty and climate change.

Poverty, because based on my beliefs from Princess Srinagarindra's teachings, is that it is the root cause for lack of opportunities including opportunities to health, education, and better livelihood.

I am also passionate about reducing the impacts of climate change because, I personally feel that importance of trees and wildlife, which are critical to human's lives, are sadly being undervalued.

I am certain that by the end of this 2-week youth development program, I will be able to come up with a project where I could apply in Thailand and help the lives of people, animals, and the environment be better.
