He is currently in the hospital again since last December 13, 2016 and as per the doctor he may be staying more days or week.

Ferigno underwent a surgery performed by a colon and rectal specialist, and usually necessary to manage an anal fistula. During surgery, the physician will assess the depth and extent of the fistula tract. Most fistulas are treated with a fistulotomy, in which the skin and muscle over the tunnel are cut open, converting it into an open groove (Fistulasare usually caused by injury or surgery, but they can also result from an infection or inflammation.)

And still he needs to continue the radiation therapy, bone therapy and soon will start the chemo therapy treatment for his tumors.

Ferigno is currently confined in the hospital since last tuesday, Nov. 15 2016. He is suffering from severe body pain and cannot move that much and even walk.

Based on the PET/CT scan result there is a tumor found near the upper part of his spinal cord and should be careful now as his condition is in critical stage. Per the radiologist advise he needs to undergo radiation therapy as soon as possible to avoid the cancer cells in spreading to other area. And he needs also to have bone therapy once a month to protect his bone.

Again, we would like to seek for your generosity and kindness in raising funds for the hospital bills and to let him have the medications and treatment needed as soon as possible. He is fighting and wants to give us smile.

2015

My brother Ferigno Soriano, a 31-year old young man was diagnosed with Lung Cancer called Carcinoid Tumor last March 2015.

He started having the biopsy and CT Scan and other laboratories needed for him to identify his condition last October and since then He is no longer working.

When the Oncologist found out that he has a Lung Carcinoid Tumor, which is very rare case among other type of lung cancer, He was advised to immediately undergo a chemotherapy.

And just because he has no job since last year due to his condition the whole family is helping one another with the finances and raise a fund as this kind of treatment is really an expensive one. We also tried to have a medical assistance from PCSO but only the main chemo drugs are being given to us and still not enough. The cost for every session is almost P30,000 - 50,000 (USD 667 - 1110) and sometimes higher which includes other chemo drugs, hospital bills, doctors fee, blood test and some laboratories depending on what the doctor requested him to do.

He also does not have any medical insurance to support the long term medication/ treatment.

We love to see him Smile.

He has the ability to make everyone Smile.

Since his recent diagnosis of Lung Carcinoid tumor he has been very positive and really eager to overcome this trial.

As of now he had the repeat CT scan and according to the doctor the tumor has improved, so need to continue the chemotherapy. He needs another 6 cycles. We had finished the 4th cylce and about to start the next cycle.
