Ken was born at 8 months with a ventricular septal defect (VSD) and lung bulla. A definition of courage, he has surpassed a thoracotomy when he was 46 days old.
His 7 years have been tough as he has always been in and out of the hospital but despite his condition, he has never failed to share "wisdom" and bring smiles. His life has been an open book as I've always shared our conversations through my FB post. How I wish to only share happy posts but as I see him every day and as I hear his prayers, I could no longer contain my pain and fears.
He needs to undergo another operation to remove the section of his lung with the bulla. This is necessary to finally reduce the risks of infections and further damage to his lung. He will be undergoing a video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS). This is quite an expensive procedure but we said yes (not even knowing where to get the funds needed).
We only wish Ken to be well...as all parents would for their children. We wish to see him run more miles with other kids, climb greater heights, soar high in an airplane, see the clouds up there and tell more stories...to paint more smiles.
Please help our Ken...please pray for him/ help us raise funds for his surgery.
Thank you very much and may our good Lord bless you abundantly for your generosity. -Eidel, Ken's mom
