I wish I didn't have to do this, but this is the only option I have..
My sweet emotional service dog, Aiko, is in need of surgery. Her knees are both very bad and need patella luxation surgery's, but for now we are focusing on the worse leg, her right leg. They need to cut the bone in two to fix and adjust her kneecap, as her tendonts are too short for the bone, a birthdefect that was only discovered now

She's in a lot of pain because of her knee, and gets pain medication daily to help with that, but she needs surgery soon. Sadly, it kind of needs to happen quickly (hopefully before the end of this year) as she's also going blind and it will be more difficult for her to handle the recovery of the surgery after she looses her sight..

Aiko is only 7 and a half, and her breed can live very long lives so we feel we need to try to help her, even tho insurance can't.. Me and my family can't cover it alone, tho I've been able to skrape together about 5000 Norwegian kr so far..

Any help at all, even a dollar, would mean the world, as her meaning to me is invaluable. I have aspergers syndrome and many other health problems.. Aiko helps me with anxiety, panic attacks, depression and makes me be able to live a fairly normal life. She is an amazing, happy dog that's stable in life and deserves everything good, so this is breaking my heart..

If she can't get the surgery, she won't have long before the pain becomes too much for her..
