Miss Supranational Project x Helpmelearn
Raising funds for the build of a large wall at Maranatha school Ghana
Helpelearnafrica has been empowering education inAfrica since 2017. We support volunteering projects that include building , and teaching in impoverished villages in Ghana and Kenya. During the last 5 to 6 years we have been mainly focussing on Maranatha school ,located in the small village of Kewunor next to Ada Foah Ghana. Maranatha has been slowly growing in both structure and population over the past few years with more and more volunteers travelling to help build classrooms to accommodate the schools capacity. It is now all together comprised of 8 classrooms one library and a nursery.
In order to continue to help build education and improve lives the school requires further structure and privatisation. In other words enclosing the area so that it is used solely for educational purposes. The school is currently located in the middle of the village with no wall, or fence separating it from locals houses and shops . Therefore by building a wall surrounding the campus. We can instil and introduce institutionalisation allowing the formalisation of learning, structure and discipline and most importantly helping children feel safe, and supported in a learning environment.
