Supporting a Dog Shelter Owner Battling Cancer – Fundraiser for a Helper

ROBERT’S HELPER FUNDRAISING

Dear animal lovers,

We are reaching out to you today to ask for your support in helping Robert, the owner of a dog shelter caring for 200 dogs. Robert was diagnosed with lung cancer stage IV in April 2023, and unfortunately, he is unable to manage the shelter's day-to-day activities by himself. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

As you can imagine, running a dog shelter is a challenging and demanding task, and it's particularly difficult for Robert at the moment. He is struggling to care for the dogs due to his poor health and medication side effects. This is where your help comes in - we need your support to raise €3250 each month to pay for helpers who will assist Robert with the daily activities of the shelter.

We understand that people are often more willing to donate to dog food and emergency medical care, but at this time, Robert is vulnerable and needs our help. Your contribution will go directly towards paying for the helpers, who will help Robert to care of the dogs' feeding, cleaning, and other basic needs.
