Hello I am Wendy

In september 2019 I received the worst news in my life: I was diagnosed with cancer. No one is prepared to deal with this kind of blow, you feel like all your existence is falling apart and I was full with fear.

Through the support of my family, my loving husband and faith in God, I stood strong and in the following months I underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It was vey difficult but I had hope.

Despite my illness I had plans and enjoyed every day like a treasure, grateful of being alive and even continued working, because in this way I had a normal life to a certain extent.

However, life had another blow in store for me. In 2021 the cancer metastasized to other organs and in October it had reached the brain...

Since then I've been fighting it again with chemotherapy and radiotherapy and it has been very hard, not only physically but financially. The debts keep piling up and I am in a weakened state where I can no longer work.

I keep my faith in God, that this story reaches people who, without knowing me, have faith in me.
