Campaign Story
The region of South East Sulawesi Mainland (Indonesia), especially KONAWE UTARA (North Konawe) regency, KONAWE SELATAN (South Konawe) regency and MAIN KONAWE regency are now in a state of emergency and help is desperately needed.
An on-going heavy rains have made more than 5,000 people to flee their homes, which are under water either partially or completely. All public facilities are destroyed including dams, schools, hospitals, and government offices - all are under water, making the people are rescued or escaped with only the clothes they were wearing and are now in need of food, fresh water, medicine, clothing, bedding, tents, towels, and other basic needs. Local governments and the community have worked hand in hand to help the victims, yet more help are needed.
The Plan of Action
At this point, I am in South East Sulawesi mainland and have no idea how long the relief and rebuilding efforts will take, but given the current state of emergency of the victims, your immediate support is extremely needed. Every dollar/pound/euro you donate are highly appreciated.
