Campaign Story
We Queer individuals in the Kakuma refugee camp face unique and often dangerous challenges due to our sexual orientation and gender identity. We may be subjected to discrimination, harassment, and even violence from both our fellow refugees and the staff members of the camp. Additionally, we queer individuals in kakuma refugee camp.we often lack access to necessary healthcare, including HIV/AIDS treatment and hormone therapy.
As a result, we queer individuals in the Kakuma refugee camp and our allies we call for support and donations in order to raise awareness about the specific challenges that we face and also advocate for our rights to be recognized and protected. We also seek support in the form of resources, such as medical care and legal aid, as well as emotional and mental health support. Ultimately, we queer individuals in refugee camp deserve the same rights and protections as anyone else, and it is important to support our efforts to achieve our rights.
