Support Raising Training for African Missionaries.

We all know that Africa that used to be a mission field a few decades ago is fast becoming a mission force! The Church in Africa is growing and believers are embracing the call to take the Gospel to the unreached. But there's still a challenge -- there's little or no knowledge of support raising among missionaries.

Many accept the call into cross-cultural mission without fully understanding the financial implications. Few months into it, they are already under severe financial stress. In most cases, the missionaries end up spending most of their time finding ends meet, thereby abandoning their ministry. In fact, there have been cases where missionary kids go wayward as a way of expressing their anger to God "who called their parents and would not allow them provide reasonably for them". One other disservice this does is that; missionary enterprise is not appealing to young people who are the necessary replacement for aging missionaries. This shouldn't be the case!

I have lived and ministered on the generous giving of partners here in Africa for close to 5 years and I believe the Lord would want me teach other missionaries how to raise support for their ministry assignments here in Africa. To this end, I began to develop a training outline that I have used to train about 7 missionaries with huge success in their financial conditions. I want to update the material and allow more African missionaries access my training. This means I have to subsidize the training heavily.

To achieve maximum result, missionaries must be housed for at least 4 days in a location (I saw the need for this in my earlier training). So cost of accommodate, feeding and training materials must be subsidized. With $100 subsidy for each missionary, I have an initial target of training forty missionaries.

I'm calling you to be part of training missionaries in Africa on how to be full-funded for their ministry by donating generously.
