Ty: HI my name is Ty, I'm 9 years old and I am raising money for the Misión México organization in Chiapas. The children there have no family because they have been abandoned or are orphans or had to be taken away from their homes and I would like to help them. I am doing the #75hard challenge which is a challenge of 75 days that I have to commit to and I hope that people will sponsor me to complete the challenge. All the money I raise will be sent to Misión Mexico.
Nat (Ty's mom): Albergue Misión México is situated in Tapachua Chiapas, Mexico, and is a registered charity in Mexico. Children are referred to them by the Government Welfare Department and they provide a loving and stable home for them for as long as they need it. The refuge receives no ongoing financial support from the Mexican State or Federal Government.
Misión Mexico is a refuge for kids and teens from backgrounds of abuse, abandonment, neglect and extreme poverty. The number of children in their care changes constantly, but on average they care for between 40 and 50 children on a permanent basis.
Almost all of the children have suffered extreme poverty and abuse. Some have experienced unspeakable violence.
Ty: For my challenge I have to do the following for 75 days with no break or cheat day:
- 2 x Workouts of 30 minutes each. One has to always be outside no matter the weather
- Read 5 pages of a book each day
- Drink 2L of water each day
- Stick to a diet (healthy nutrition plan) I will not eat any sugar, snacks or junk food
- No cheat days of exercise or food
Thank you for supporting me!
