Campaign Story
Our community has recently received very sad news that Jeff Rahming, a longtime fitness instructor at Club One and MacFit has been diagnosed with cancer. Jeff has made a difference in so many Bahamian’s lives by promoting health & fitness. Over his 20+ year career, he has trained men and women on the importance of being fit and in shape with his fun personality. Father of 9 but an inspiration to many more.
The news that he has stomach cancer has come as quite a shock to the many people who love his spirit and devotion. He has a passion for bringing the best out in people, whether it’s getting that extra rep in one of his classes or sharing knowledge on valuable life lessons to both the young and old. Usually the life of the party and the one to break the ice, as of late, Jeff has lost some of his luster due to cancer. Sadly, Jeff lost his wife to the same disease just 4 years ago.
Jeff is now faced with the same mountain and is using all he has to stay in and win this fight. We’re asking that you help fight with him so he can get back to do what he loves and does best, helping people live their best lives and be better versions of themselves.
The medical treatments will cost approximately $60,000. The family and community are appreciative of any monetary donations to help with these costs. On Saturday, November 19, our community is participating in a Walk-A-Thon and Family Fun Fitness Fundraiser. It is our goal to raise as much money as we can for this hard working and amazing Bahamian gentleman.
