Support for my Mom’s breast cancer recovery

Hi! I hope you're having a great day. This is Noimie, and I'm here to ask for some financial assistance for my mom, Haide, a Stage III-B Breast cancer patient.

She was diagnosed last July 2019 with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma on her left breast through biopsy, she then started 8 cycles of chemotherapy around August of 2019 and was able to complete it in February 2020. However, due to the pandemic and lack of sufficient funds, we were not able to push through with her mastectomy immediately after her last chemotherapy cycle.

Unfortunately, it dragged on until December 2021 when her left breast had already turned red and had puss oozing out. When it was checked by doctors on December 2021, the tumor had already gotten bigger than before and they advised that it really had to be removed immediately. Through various means, we were able to collect enough money for her pre-surgery lab tests and CT scans and she was successfully operated on last February 23, 2022.

3 months had passed after her mastectomy and she's recovering really well, she can now sleep better than before since the pain is already gone, and she now enjoys spending more time with her grandkid. We were advised that she still needs to undergo radiation therapy once she's able to properly lift her left hand over her head, through physical therapies she's now radiation therapy ready!

Through various financial assistance gathered from different sources and debts, we were able to complete the required CT scans and other lab tests. However, we are still in dire need of financial assistance since she will be starting her radiation therapy this June 2022. We also found out recently from her bone scan results that there are traces of suspected bone metastases on her spine and pelvic area. She will also be under a separate treatment for these traces on her bone. She's also on maintenance medication for her breast cancer and bone metastases.

My mom is a strong woman, always has been, and I really look up to her. She has sacrificed a lot for me and for our family, and my only wish is for her to recover and be able to enjoy her life more and live a happy and comfortable life--because that's what she truly deserves.

Right now, we have already exhausted our financial options--both I and my dad only rely on our monthly paychecks and we also have bills to pay, savings have been exhausted, and we have also incurred debts that we also need to settle. We humbly ask for your understanding and generosity to raise enough funding for my mom's treatments to help her heal and have a chance to live her life to it's fullest.
