Support for Filipino Scholars (WSC 2017)

Good day!

We are Pepper Elipse, Sophie Fernandez, and Maya Sabundayo.

We are a team of 3 members from Miriam College who were picked to join a competition called WSC (World Scholar's Cup). Last February 6, we competed against 18 other schools in the Manila Round held in MC and were able receive numerous awards, and have qualified for the Global Round to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Excited and fortunate we were, our school refuses to pay for our trip and our families are having a hard time, as it costs 85, 527 pesos PER STUDENT. Our parents were not given a sufficient amount of time to earn this much, since they also have to pay for our tuition for the current year and the next year.

The Global Round starts on June 26 up until July 1, and the payment for this is on April 27. It is our dream to represent our school in such a big competition as we barely receive opportunities like this.

Please help fund our trip to Vietnam and compete in WSC.
