Support for at-risk patients (COVID-19 prevention)

Most of us are fortunate enough that we are not affected by the outbreak of COVID-19, AKA Coronavirus. Khon Kaen Hospital in the capital city of Khon Kaen Province has requested your help to supplement their disease prevention efforts for the most at-risk populations: persons living with HIV, tuberculosis and other chronic illnesses, immigrants, refugees, the LGBT+ community, sex workers, victims of human trafficking, orphans, widows, the elderly, etc.

Hospital staff has asked for face masks, alcohol wash and infrared thermometers. All donations will go towards these and the following:

• Stockpiling non-perishable food items to support families and individuals affected by potential future quarantines
• Care packages for ‘front line’ workers
• Fuel and wages for distribution efforts
• Direct cash gifts to the Khon Kaen Central Hospital Organization

Pictured is Jason Alan Rutch, who is spearheading the funding effort and helping these at-risk persons every day. Jason has been a volunteer in Thailand for 10 years and adheres to WHO/UNAID guidelines and best practices in his daily work. He and his compatriots serve over 300 cases from all walks of life and have made it their mission to show the love of Christ in action and in truth. Thank you for your support!
