Africa has changed and although the quality of life has somewhat improved, something else has gone up unabated - poverty. This is more so in white communities from Gauteng South Africa to East Africa.
As you have probably seen in the media, cruel land redistribution programs in Zimbabwe left many land owners homeless and their lives shattered. Zimbabwe is not the only country in Africa to embark on and redistribution programs.
In all small white communities we have been in contact with, between 2015 and March 2016,community leaders have reported over 100 serious incidents that either left someone injured or property destroyed.
This year alone, community leaders have reported at least 300 incidences in Kenya and Tanzania alone. Murder cases here are no investigated and perpetrator often get away Scot free.
We have started a community outreach program with representatives in South Africa,Uganda,Zimbabwe,Kenya,Malawi,Tanzania and Namibia to document crimes against our communities and seek legal redress.
We also are organizing networking events and also fund raising events for community members in dire need of medical services.
Our secretariat is in need of $4500 to gather data on our members to be able to establish the whereabouts of some of our members who in gone years have settled elsewhere in Africa and we have reason to believe they are undergoing hardships without anyone out to assist them.
