He is Alan, he's 18 years old, he's Lili's only son, a single mother who has dedicated his life to being the best she can be for Alan.

Alan loves movies, music and superheroes. He loved to go out with his friends and travel. His dream is to study cinematography.

Alan was diagnosed with bone sarcoma in the right femur in 2017, when he was only 16 years old.

The prognosis was not favorable, and doctors thought he could lose his leg. He was treated with radiation and chemotherapy to encapsulate and decrease the tumor, and it worked partially. The plan was to perform an operation to remove the tumor, however, his leg was too compromised so finally the doctors decided to remove the bone from his knee and part of the muscle from the affected area, they put on a total knee prosthesis, hoping that removing the bone area with sarcoma would reduce cancer involvement.

After months of chemotherapy treatments and PET studies (tomography), lung involvement was shown, resulting in a second diagnosis of cancer, this time lung cancer.

This second diagnosis was treated in the same way, with chemotherapies that are becoming stronger to attack the disease as much as possible.

During this time Alan has been treated in private hospitals to receive chemotherapy and radiation treatments that help reduce the disease, however, in the last PET study, new metastatic lesions were discovered in both lungs, and morphological increase of existing ones; some lesions with cavitation and adjacent pneumonitis and a lesion with central necrosis in the right upper lobe, as well as atelectasis of the right pulmonary field.

This study also diagnosed a cystic lesion in the right tibia, near where the surgery was performed.

We need to continue with the necessary treatments and measures seeking Alan's recovery and giving him the necessary attention to overcome this stage.

The treatments for this disease are very expensive, however, Alan has received every possible treatment so far. Expenses have been cost so far, with family savings, loans and acquiring debts.

This campaign is carried out to help Alan cope with cancer with all the resources that can be obtained and prevent the lack of resources from being an obstacle in this difficult situation.

Él es Alan, tiene 18 años, es el único hijo de Lili, madre soltera que ha dedicado su vida a ser la mejor madre para Alan.

Alan es amante del cine, la música y los superhéroes. Le encantaba salir con sus amigos y viajar. Su sueño es estudiar cinematografía.

Fue diagnosticado con sarcoma óseo en fémur derecho en 2017, cuando sólo tenía 16 años.

El pronóstico no era nada favorable, y los doctores pensaron que podría perder la pierna. Fue tratado con radiaciones y quimioterapia para encapsular y disminuir el tumor, y funcionó parcialmente. El plan era realizar una operación para extraer el tumor, sin embargo, su pierna estaba demasiado comprometida así que finalmente los doctores optaron por remover su rodilla y parte del músculo del área afectada, le coloraron una prótesis total de rodilla, esperando que al remover el área ósea con sarcoma se reduciría la afectación del cáncer.

Después de meses de tratamientos de quimioterapia y estudios PET (tomografías) se mostraron afectaciones en un pulmón, dando lugar a un segundo diagnóstico de cáncer, esta vez cáncer pulmonar.

Este segundo diagnóstico fue tratado de la misma manera, con quimioterapias que cada vez son más fuertes para atacar en medida de lo posible la enfermedad.

Durante este tiempo Alan ha sido tratado en hospitales particulares para recibir tratamientos de quimioterapia y radiación que ayuden a disminuir la enfermedad, sin embargo, en el último estudio PET realizado, se descubrieron nuevas lesiones metástasis en ambos pulmones, y aumento morfológico de las existentes; algunas lesiones con cavitación y neumonitis adyacente y una lesión con necrosis central en el lóbulo superior derecho, así como atelectasia del campo pulmonar derecho.

En este estudio también se diagnosticó una lesión quística en la tibia derecha, cerca de donde se realizó la cirugía.

Se espera seguir con los tratamientos y medidas necesarios buscando la recuperación de Alan y brindándole las atenciones necesarias para que supere esta etapa.

Los tratamientos para esta enfermedad son muy costosos, sin embargo, Alan ha recibido cada tratamiento posible hasta el momento. Los gastos han sido costados hasta ahora, con los ahorros de la familia, con préstamos y adquiriendo deudas.

Esta campaña se realiza para ayudar a Alan a hacer frente al cáncer con todos los recursos que se puedan conseguir y esto no sea un obstáculo más en esta difícil situación.
