William is a form two student at Tushikamane Secondary School, one of the public secondary schools in Tanzania-East Africa, his mother on the picture is sick of Kidney, his mum got sick, while she was pregnant of the kid you see on the picture. The poverty started haunting the family when the father passed away while mum is still sick and unable to find daily bread for the children. William stopped going to school on regular basis, and turned into a beggar in a street to find what people can give to sustain his family. William's academic performance become worse due to new responsibility at home! He started becoming truant, and missing classes for 2 to 3 days per week, the days he comes to school, he always seemed psychologically disturbed. The teachers revealed that William hardly gets his meals, thus some days come to school empty stomach! Also he walks on foot for long distance while his fellows come to school on board. Despite all obstacles on his journey of education, William has been among of top 10 students in his class of 170 students. However, his class teacher commented that William's academic performance is negatively affected a day after a day, because he has been on top of the class academically, but now is facing downfall to 5th position! I call upon you to support education for this youngster, whose dream is to become a doctor by contributing funds for food, transport fare, health insurance, and school uniform for his 2018 academic year. William and other 19 students with similar problem needs 281 USD each to be able to attend classes on daily basis in 2018 academic year.
