Summer Trip To Europe

~Where I Am Going  :  Scotland and Spain ~What The Money Is Used For :  Plane ticket, accomodations, food.    ~Purpose of The Trip  :  I have always had a desire to travel and see the world. I love to meet new people, try new things, and work on my foreign languages. For 12 years, I have done nothing but go tothe same school and have people tell me what to learn and when I will learn it. This summer is an oppertunity for me to learn about one of the things that I am most interested in. This summer is an opportunity to pursue one of the things that I love and be immersed in diversity and rich cultural enviroments. This summer, I am planning to take a trip to Europe before I start college so I can see some of the things I've been wanting to see before I start spending money, time, and energy on my college career. This will be a time when I finally get to take my mind off of school work and put my focus on learning from what the world has to offer. I hope to make friendships that last a lifetime and take home things that will change my perpective on the world and the people in it.  ~Why Am I Doing a GoGetFunding? Many times pursuing a passion can be hindered by time or financial constraints. In my case, I'm coming up short on the amount of money I need to reach my goal. Being so involved in a varsity sport, community activities, and college preperations leaves me little time for a job. I am depending on family, friends, and anyone else who might help to get me where I want to go.    Thank you for all your help, anything you give- big or small- makes an impact. Shelby
