Suit for Life: Support our Filipino Frontliners by Providing PPE

The Suit for Life campaign aims to help Filipinos in the frontline by producing personal protective equipment (PPE). With your support, we are on a mission to safeguard both medical and non-medical frontliners as they bravely face the dire situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since March 2020, Filipinos, along with the rest of the world, took a step back from their usual lifestyles due to the fast spread of the appalling Coronavirus. While everyone else gets to stay home to protect themselves, millions cannot afford to do so, especially essential workers.Despite the great risk, the situation has worsened as supply for the crucial PPE fell short.Overwhelming reports tell us frontliners are using their disposable PPE multiple times.Others even resort to using trash bags as a desperate substitute. These practices pose hazards however, they are left with no choice because of the scarce supply of protective suits.

As the number of positive cases of Covid-19 rises, Philippine hospitals and institutions are in need for more supply of PPE. Based on the University of the Philippines’ research, more and more people might get infected and there is a pressing need to attend to this issue.

Through the Suit for Life campaign, we aim to protect our frontliners who risk their lives for others; and at the same time provide livelihood for more tailors and assemblers who were also affected by the pandemic.

Nevertheless, our team started shipping out PPE suits that are produced weekly. The funds that we are raising will be allotted for the materials, production labor, and shipping. The budget allocated for the production will go directly to the community of tailors, assemblers, delivery personnels whom we are working with. By supporting this campaign, you are not just helping those in the frontline, but also feed the families of those who lost their livelihood due to the lockdown.

By pledging any amount of monetary support, you will help save our frontliners’ lives as they pay forward by performing their duty to save those who have been infected by the virus. In addition, you are also helping our community of tailors, assemblers, delivery personnels to provide for their families in these trying times.

There is no amount too little, inasmuch as one suit saves countless lives.
