Suffering puppy in need of Quick help!

Not Only humans experience suffering - animals do, too. But they can't take care of themselves, can they?

It was a chilly night. On the way home my friend stumbled upon a puppy, who was shaking from the coldness of the winter. At first it seemed, that the puppy was okay, but her kind heart couldn't resist, so she walked closer to take a deeper look. The puppy was not only shaking, but also wet, hurt, scared and it...looked, like it was extremely suffering. Why?

She picked up the dog and took it to the vet. Unfortunate news. This puppy has two broken paws, the ones that are closer to the hip bone. We decided to help, but medical expenses for operation cost 500 euro.
Both of us are unemployed students, but huge animal lovers, we want to help this doggy out and we can't just leave it there to die.
