My name is Sarah Bowles and I am Sue Neill-Fraser's daughter. You may have seen a bit about my mum's case on the documentary Undercurrent and on Sixty Minutes.

Mum was wrongfully convicted of murdering her partner of 20 years, Bob Chappell in 2010. Our lives have been irreparably damaged since Bob disappeared on the night of Australia Day 2009. I think of Bob ever day. I continue to process the traumatic situation in which mum remains in prison struggling with health issues, while the justice system slowly attempts to unpick the miscarriage of justice. I, along with so many others have been fighting to overturn her wrongful conviction and expose the errors that led to her arrest and subsequent conviction, since this time. Mum's plight to seek justice concerns many Australians, as well as people across the world, who have followed her story.

Mum has a very talented and largely pro bono legal team led by Tom Percy QC in Western Australia and Solicitor Paul Galbally in Melbourne. I have been reluctant to accept financial donations to support her legal plight. However, with an Appeal on foot, a potential re-trial on the horizon and a multitude of forensic tests and expert witnesses that may require funding, the time has come to accept such assistance. We cannot afford to right this wrong alone. Your help will assist us to free an innocent woman.

Any money raised here will go towards paying for the costs of forensic tests, expert witnesses, professional paralegal support, flights and accommodation for our lawyers to attend Tasmania, where the court presides, and any other cost associated with the legal action being taken to prove mum's innocence.
