Study Abroad in Italy

Hello, my name is Alexia Hall, and I am a junior studying psychology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Out of fifty applicants and twelve spots available, I was accepted to study abroad this summer with the UTK Multicultural Psychology in Italy program, from June 2- June 19, 2015. The program will begin with me taking a portion of the course here at the University in May, and then we will depart on June 2, to Naples, Italy, where the remainder of the course will take place. We will be able to sightsee various locations of our choice and explore the city any time after class has ended for the day. The program will conclude on June 19, where we will depart from Florence, Italy. The total out-of-pocket cost for the program is 2,960, and I will need to make my first deposit by April lst. This cost covers airfare, housing, and a limited number of meals. I would love to be able to go, but I need your help to raise the money to get there. Any donations will be of great help to my cause. I have applied for two scholarships with the University, but I have not recieved news yet on my standing. The scholarships are only given to two people, so I want to garantee my attendance by starting my own fundraiser now. Studying abroad is an amazing opportuniy that only few college students are able to take and I dream of being one of them. I am so very grateful to be given this opportunity, and I know it was not given in vain. It is with all hopes that I am able to attend this once in a lifetime experience.
