Hello Famiy and friends around the world. I'm Jensen Florenosos, 32 years old from Philippines. I'm raising a money to fund my student visa application for Canada. I wanted to pursue my dream to study in Canada because I believe I can have a better future, to earn more and help my family out of poverty. "Salt and rice" helped us survive in the absence of right food.

I grew up in a very poor family in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental Philippines. I'm the youngest among the 5 siblings. When I was born, my mother was diagnosed with heart enlargement, toxic goiter, astigmatisms and nervous breakdown that causes her to stop helping my father to sew dresses because they are in tailoring field before. The most painful event that happens in our family when my eldest brother became a victim if illegal drugs that leads him to become a mentally retarded person. It was very difficult when my father almost died because of my eldest brother's attempt to kill him many times because of the anxiety he had. My parents decided to send my brother in a mental hospital or rehabilitation center that makes them owing to debt. Then all of my siblings wasn't able to go to college because every earning of my father goes to the medication of my eldest brother. I could still remember those times that I always cried because the dish we have is only an oil and soy sauce. And those funny crying moments when the storm is coming, we need to hold our "nipa roof" because it can easily blown out by the wind since it is a light material. I only have one brother who tried to fund himself as a self supporting student to finish his vocational electronic course. He was the one who help me gave an allowance so I can pursue my college in Cagayan de Oro City. In order for me to finish my college I took a scholarship so my tuition fee will be free. Happily I graduated in BSBA Management course but my struggle was like passing in the eye of the needle. I couldn't even remember how many times we transferred from one place to another because we are homeless.

After graduation, I was able to work in different companies and helped my parents to settle back in their hometown in Bohol bringing my eldest brother to keep it safe in a customized cell so he can't hurt someone else because it came to the point that he is already harassing people even he knows it. Everything I earned isn't enough to help them because my salary isn't that big like the other company. It was year 2015 when my eldest brother died, and I ended up debt-full because even though I have some siblings, there were nothing on that moment.

Presently, my father is already 76 years old and my mother is 70. They are living with my brother in Cagayan de Oro City and I'm here living in Bacolod Negros Occidental, I have 1 daughter and a common law partner with both of us are praying that we could raise the money to start the goal. My daughter is also my inspiration to pursue my dream so I can gave her a quality education and a brighter future that she will not encounter those painful struggles I had in the past. My partner is a food vendor and what he earn isn't enough for our daily needs. If given a chance to have a successful fund raising, I will surely help other people those in need too in the future because I know God bless to those who heartily shares what they have. I also want to extend my help in the future to help my nephew and nieces to study in college so they will become a better person someday.

Thank you for reading and I pray God will bless you more abundantly. Thank you!
