₱0.00raised of ₱100,000.00 goal goal
Campaign Story
We are doctors of Rehabilitation Medicine in the University of the Philippines Philippine General Hospital
Our goal is to radically improve the quality of life of our patients by providing assistive devices and mobility devices to patients in need. Most of our patients are chronically disabled and with the help of some tools or modifications may remove the word "disabled" and actually enable them. Such as Spinal Cord Injury patients who are unable to fully grasp with their hands or stroke patients with difficulty unbuttoning or buttoning their shirts to children with congenital malformations needing a cane, crutches or a custom walker. The donations received will not be like a medication that is a one time thing. The donations received will be used to provide the most needed assistive device that our patients can use daily to drastically improve the QUALITY OF THEIR LIFE.
A patient without a walker may be stuck in bed for life and develop complications of immobility.
A patient who cannot feed himself because of poor grip due to spinal cord injuries will need lifetime assistance by another person
LET US ENABLE THESE PATIENTS AND BRING BACK INDEPENDENCE TO THE PATIENTS AND EASEN CAREGIVER BURDEN/FATIGUE
