Almond, the British Shorthair cat was found abandoned and in terrible condition. He was taken to the clinic where he was diagnosed suffering from chronic diarrhea and weight loss.

During the examination, severe pneumonia was also diagnosed. While trying to treat pneumonia, pyothorax started to develop, a life-threatening condition.

Fortunately the vets successfully treated pyothorax and pneumonia seems under control and improving. These were crucial steps towards his immediate recovery.

At the moment we are focusing on addressing his chronic diarrhea and weight loss issues. Blood work, x-rays, lab examinations, samples, ultrasound examinations etc have already taken place but monitoring and further testing is necessary, which come with significant costs.

Despite the challenges, Almond is a young cat with a promising future ahead, and we are dedicated to providing him with the opportunity to live a normal and healthy life and find a loving home for him.

From the above and after significant discounts and help from the vet the estimated costs reached the balance of €1.133.

We've covered the sum of €200 but we will need your support to cover the remaining balance and proceed to further treatment as well.

If you wish to support our efforts you can do so by donating through this fundrasing or by any other means possible for you.

You can always message to provide further information and updates on Almond's condition.
