Stabilizing my family and I, working on my passion

I'm Zantus, those close to me know me as Uthman and in early June I had quit my job to focus on my mental health, leaving my family and I without financial support.

• AUGUST 17th UPDATE:

Our landlord tried to sell out our rental place without us knowing, we found the listing online and that had us searching for a new place to move to. We've found one nearby and we are able to keep renting another place (THANKS to all of you!) for the time being, but unfortunately I cannot cover all the other costs.

It's not super clear as to why, however there exists overdue electric bills that we have to pay off, but can't afford to. We're still looking into reducing this if possible but for the meantime, I've put down the amount needed.

Again, thank you, thank you and thank you so much for the support thus far. I really wish I could do something back for you, so I'll keep working my best to achieve this dream and duty I have while I look for opportunities once I can move out.

• JULY 27th:

I quit my job at a horrible time, while the financial situation my family is not stable. I live with my older brother and his wife on food truck business which is heavily affected by Covid, my little sister studying.

The job I had came at the cost of my mental health and quitting, of course, came at the cost of having a place to live. I relied on my friends to keep myself happier and much of that wasn't possible as they mostly live on the opposite timezone, meaning I can't stay up late or wake up too early for that. It took so much time, pressure with little pay in return and though I felt weak, alone and ready to give up, I do realize it is my fault for not lining up another job before quitting.

Covid isn't an excuse though it has its impact on finding more options for work, I am already applying for job offers. I'm also looking at a therapist near me to prevent myself from slipping again. My main concern is that I can't pay off what's overdue without overworking myself.

On my off time, I have a passion and it's what makes me incredibly happy. I've been working on a project about Rainbow Six Siege, a game dear to my heart and I believe my work can change a lot of things about how the community sees the game, how it can help pinpoint issues and help resolve them. One day, I'm even hoping to build a sustaining platform off it all.

Sadly, I cannot put much work into this project considering everything.

I'm asking for a chance to get my life back on track, for myself to be able to work on my dreams, seeking psychiatry/therapy for professional help in the future and put less of a financial burden on my family.
