Sri Lanka Elephant Conservation volunteer Program

The goal is to fly to Sri Lanka in August 2019 to volunteer in the Elephant Conservation project in the island; which will be a graceful and wonderful experience not only for the species and community impacted but for myself. As I will learn about the survival instincts and natural behavior of the species, and have the honor of working and helping with the conservation of such a majestic and spiritual animal and the community that has constant interactions with it. Conserving the animal species of the world is important, because everyone of them is part of the food chain and the ecosystems of the planet, maintaining a balance that has worked for the planet’s existence throughout time. I am certain, that I will have the opportunity to make the world a better place, by helping maintain the balance, while it makes me a better person. It will definitely be the most satisfactory opportunity for it will obligate me to face a new and diverse culture, ideals and ways of life, which I know, will change me along the way.
