Spay Revolution

CDO Spay & Neuter Campaign wants to raise $1000 to subsidize the spay/neuter surgeries of 100 cats on a mobile clinic here in Cagayan de Oro City, improving the quality of their lives, reducing rabies transmission.

We dream of a community where no pets are born wild, where no cat or dog capable of living in a home that is lacking one, and where no community cats go wanting for food, water, and appropriate care and concern.

Our mission is to improve the lives of feral animals especially the estimated 2,000 community cats (stray, abandoned, or feral) living in Cagayan de Oro by providing low cost spay/neuter, TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) training and equipment, public education, and increased support and legal protection to colony caretakers, facilitating the humane management of community cats, ultimately decreasing their numbers in shelters and at large. It's the only solution to curb the rabies problem of the city.

In commemoration of World Spay Day, we are planning to organize an event that caters to the sterilization of 100 cats on February 25, 2020.
