Social Protection for Informal Workers in Uganda

Uganda continues to struggle with inadequate inclusive and diverse workplaces; equal pay for work of equal value; and the minimum social protection standards, among others issues. Furthermore, the situation is worse in the informal sector not being sufficiently supported by Government, not regulated and often characterized with non-compliance with basic labour and employment standards leading to multiple rights violations and abuse of workers in this sector.

We are raising funds to create Awareness about Social Protection which is considered a human right thus working together with communities to positively impact them to get out of poverty for a sustainable development.
