SOCIAL INVESTMENT FUND

Capital Solutions Ltd started the Social Investment Fund (SIF) in January 2020 as an impact Fund for SEs based in Africa. Social Investment Fund targets women-led and youth led enterprises. The fund provides patient capital, challenge grant and private debt to improve financial accessibility for social entrepreneurs in Africa operating under a financially constrained environment in which they cannot access financing from the mainstream financial circles.

Social Investment Fund is managed by Capital Solutions Limited. Providing small amounts ranging from about $1,000 to $5,000. Targeting micro and medium sized social enterprises specifically start-ups and scale ups (1-5 years). Capital Solutions Ltd is a Social Enterprise that started operations in 2014 in Uganda working with low-income communities in Africa with a vision “An Economy where Social Entrepreneurs Thrive”
