Snowboard freestyle Europacup | My dream Olympic Games 2022

My name is Melina Merkhoffer, I am a professional snowboarder from Germany. I grew up in Wiesbaden, pretty much in the flat part of Germany, and moved to Austria after my graduation from school, to focus on my dream, to become a professional snowboarder.

Since 2014 I am competing at international level contests.

Besides snowboarding, training and competitions, I finished my bachelor degree in Business Administration this summer and will continue with my master degree from this autumn on.

This season, I am nominated to enter my first World Cup. This will be a super interesting year with many new experiences. On my Youtube Channel, I show my followers my journey and encourage espacially girls to start action sports.
Through out winter I also offer free trainingscamps for girls who want to start freestyle snowboarding.

My dream is to become an Olympian in 2022.

As a snowboarder, we suffer from a lack of financial support by our country, therefore it is hard to continue my dual career.
For the upcoming Season, I need financial support to be able to train professionally on a world stage level.

For many of you this might just be a drop in the bucket, but for me, it means to become or stay competitive in the future.
