Cameroon has been the scene of recent crises in which thousands of civilians have been internally displaced amid violence caused by Boko Haram insurgencies in the far North and separatist related violence in the North-West and South-West regions.
Many of the victims are youngsters who are unable to attend school due to the ongoing hostilities. Some of them experienced atrocities, including kidnapping, violence and molestation.
One of them is Shina, a bright 18-year old girl from Bamenda. Shina was kidnapped by mobsters and suffered from physical violence during her abduction. She managed to escape and was brave enough to share her story with the public. We from the Cameroon Association for Active Youths(CAMAAY)
Currently, Shina has one simple wish: to attend high school. CAMAAY would like to call upon everyone to help her realize her wish to go back to school in a safer part of her country, Cameroon.
