Please help us raise funds for my mom's Craniotomy operation.

Back in December 2003, my mom suffered from Bell's Palsy, a condition that causes paralysis on one side of her face. Thankfully, she recovered after undergoing series of therapy at home.

But in 2005, my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease which affected her nervous system that caused her muscles to gradually become weak.Despite her condition, she was able to fulfill her duties as a servant of God, a wife and a mom to our family. She worked so hard to give us the life we deserve. She wanted nothing but the best for our family.

Last May 22, 2016, My mom and dad traveled from Legazpi, Albay to Manila (where I am currently working) to visit me. Despite their old age and health condition they endured the long travel just to be with me. They arrived in Manila around 3:00 am the next day. Right after seeing me, my mom kissed me a hundred times and then told me how much she missed me. I can also clearly remember that night, I went home right after work and brought her her favorite dish. Tulingan na may Niyog, Adobong Sitaw, and Sabaw ng baboy. During dinner, we we're laughing and sharing stories. I even showed her my photos with my friends. We we're very happy that night.

Until last May 24, 2016, while I was working, I received a call from my dad. I can sense the urgency from his voice. He told me that my mom suddenly collapsed. He brought her to Las Pinas Doctors Hospital. I rushed to the hospital to see my mom. My dad was there waiting for me at the emergency room. The doctor said she had to undergo observations while in the ICU. She remained unconscious for days. The doctor run series of tests to know my mom's condition. When the result of her CT scan came, the doctor told us that the right part of my mom's brain is swollen. According to the doctor, due to certain obstructions in her brain, the blood is hindered to reach the right part of her brain. This happens when a blood vessel in the brain suddenly breaks or gets blocked, to which the left part of the body becomes inactive and unresponsive.

The doctor told us that my mom needs to undergo Craniotomy operation, a surgical procedure wherein a portion of her skull is removed in order to let her brain have air space. There are no other option but to undergo the said procedure which will cost us around Php. 1,500,000.00 or more.

Seeing my mom in the hospital bed broke my heart in a thousand pieces, and knowing that my dad is also broken inside shed my heart in a million pieces more. My family's savings is not enough to suffice my mom's medical needs and I want to do something about this. My mom sacrificed so much for us and this time, it's my turn to give it back to her.

As her daughter, I am humbly asking for your help to extend my mom's life. Please let me have more time with my mom. I still want her to try my Tulingan na may Niyog. I still want to feel her warm embrace. I still want to feel her kiss. I still want give her the life she deserves.
