Setting up an online business portal and mobile applications

An international business portal meant to cater for halal products has been developed. The name is iHalal Mall (www.ihalal.biz). The target market is across the globe for everyone with no discrimination against race, religion or nationality.

All products advertised and marketed must adhere to the Islamic's Halal guidelines. Though no requirements for halal certification of any kinds, a self censoring and monitoring by the participating merchants to prevent any non-halal products being sold.

Funding requirements:

1. So much money and efforts have been put in the project to develop a working e-commerce portal. It has been thoroughly tested for functionality, security and reliability. The portal has passed the relevant tests. Self funding has been used and no further funding is needed.

2. Mobile apps development for both Android and IOS are on-going. They are target for launching by third week of January 2019. Self funding has been used and no further funding is needed.

3. Aggressive marketing is needed to generate more sales to the portal. Presently, the budget for marketing is very limited focusing strictly on social media. Additional fund is required urgently to execute marketing strategies for both online and offline. A dedicated team is needed to be set up to 1) bring in quality merchants with marketable products, and 2) to execute multi lingual marketing such as producing videos, marketing materials, and offering samples and gifts for new customers.
