On November 25, 2017 Chloe complained of a sore throat,

nothing abnormal for a 34 year old mother of 5 1/2 and 4 year old kids.

The weekend progressed as did her "cold" until it got to the point only 4

days later that her and her husband, John decided to take her to the

Emergency Room. Things escalated quickly and before the day was over

Chloe was in the ICU fighting for her life in septic shock. She was

put on dialysis, a respirator and a heart/lung bypass machine to keep

her alive. Things looked bleak and she is still not out of the woods. In

order to contain the infection doctors were forced to remove both of

her legs below the knee and part of her right arm. The doctors are still

not sure what brought on this infection in a normally healthy young

woman. Chloe is still in the ICU and still fighting in the hopes that

her skin will heal and nothing else needs to be removed.
Shocked? I was as well.
Her

husband has the support of two great families but as a nurse himself is

and will be in need of financial help to pay the medical bills,

refurbish the house to make it handicap accessible, and care for their

two young kids. Their life has been turned upside down and the last

thing they need are financial worries.
These are two truly wonderful

people who been given a crappy hand yet somehow they are pushing through

this. Christmas and new year is here and these kids will always remember it as

the Christmas that mommy got sick.

Please help my friends Chloe and John and their kids!
